SwissShrimp based on the Swiss/German border on the banks of the River Rhein is currently the largest in-door shrimp producer in Europe. Land-based Aquaculture across species is a way forward in producing healthy protein for human consumption, due to resurculating aquaculture system (RAS), the water is free from bacteria, plastic and other residues and therefore no need to use any antibiotics or other chemicals. Furthermore land-based fish farming helps to clean our open waters, is animal friendly and reduces the CO2 impact due to a more localised production in smaller facilities Xandance & Partners is supporting a current capital increase to double the capacity in its Swiss facility before supporting the planned internationalisation of this forward thinking brand.
